Textured Melamine & Painted Oak Refacing

This kitchen and bar refacing created a brand new look in the open floor-plan space. The perimeter cabinets are painted oak, while the island and the bar are textured melamine. Such a great way to combine textures while creating some separation in the space!

Project Description

These doors are Showplace Chalet style, with Oyster Painted Oak on the perimeter and Charred Oak Textured Melamine on the island and bar. The existing pantry was altered to fit a new appliance, freeing up some counter space without needing to demo any of the old cabinets. A pullout spice rack was installed in the kitchen, as well as two new base cabinets to extend the counter further into the dining area. In the bar area, roll trays were added inside the existing cabinet boxes for easier access.

We are very pleased with the finished renovation of our kitchen. The transformation is amazing and we love all the extra space we have with the taller cabinets. The installers arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves.
We will recommend Mtn Kitchens to our friends and it was a pleasure working with the staff.
